Event - Schools Environmental Award
On Wednesday 18 October 2006, Mrs Shuter and some children and governors from school went to the Council House in Birmingham to be presented with the Birmingham Civic Society Schools Environmental Award award for our Forest School.
We were one of only five schools in the city to be given such an award, and we are very proud that our hard work and enthusiasm has been recognised and rewarded.
As well as a plaque for our entrance hall, we received a cheque for £100, which will go towards more hedging and screening plants for our Forest School.
The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Mike Sharpe, made the presentation.
